General Show Information 2025
Tickets
Tickets for our spring recital “Decades-Celebrating 20 Years of Dance” will go on sale Friday, March 21st at noon through the Arts and Culture Centre. Ticket prices will be $32.00 (plus arts and culture centre service charge) and are sold on a first come, first served basis. They will be limited to 6 per transaction. Please note, tickets sell extremely fast and it is advised to purchase as soon as they go on sale. Tickets will be available through the Arts and Culture Centre box office, telephone and online at www.artsandculturecentre.com.
Assigned Shows
The assigned shows for each class is posted on our website under the schedule. We have multiple families doing various classes, due to time restraints, ticket availability and backstage capacities, it is impossible to connect all families to only one show. While we will do our best to accommodate family requests, unfortunately, they cannot be guaranteed.
Rehearsals and Shows
Sunday, April 27th
Rehearsal at the Arts and Culture Centre
Rehearsal Schedule – April 27th – Updated April 15th
This rehearsal is to take place on the main stage at the Arts and Culture Centre and is very important. Please make every effort to attend. We ask that only one caregiver attends this practice and no additional family members/siblings/friends. You will be permitted to stay but we ask that you arrive on time and leave immediately after to alleviate congestion in the auditorium. Due to capacity regulations, please DO NOT bring students early. You do not need to arrive earlier than the listed times. It is also not permitted to stay to watch the other dances. Assigned times can be found on our website.
There is absolutely no food or drink while in the audience. If dancers require a snack, we will have dressing rooms assigned.
Students are to arrived in full costume. If dancers are participating in more than one song, they should arrive in their first costume (as listed in the rehearsal schedule posted online) and bring the remaining costume(s) to change into once the first staging is complete. We will have assigned dressing rooms for the dancers to change. Please make sure everything is fully labeled.
All students are asked to enter and exit the Arts and Culture Centre via the north door. This is the entrance facing the parkway on the side of the Arts and Culture Centre. It is the entrance next to the electronic billboard. It is the same entry way used in previous years.
While we aim to keep all practice times as scheduled, this is a rehearsal with the Arts and Culture crew. We apologize if the rehearsal times vary from the assigned times. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure everything is perfect for the recital.

Classes
There will be no classes at the studio from Sunday, April 27th to Wednesday, April 30th.
Recital Pictures
Pretty Pictures will be booking pictures by appointment ONLY at the ACC this year. Please DO NOT book your appointment 30 minutes before or after your rehearsal time to allow for scheduling changes that may occur during rehearsal. Cash ONLY will be accepted on site. Please contact Vanessa at prettypicturesdance@gmail.com to book your appointment. Missed appointments will have to reschedule for the next available time slot. BRAND NEW this year!! ONE DAY ONLY on Saturday April 26th Pretty Pictures will be offering larger packages at the studio. Larger groups are also recommended to book for this date (pricing may vary). These pictures are optional and not mandatory. Please contact Vanessa for further details.
Video
Memories Forever video production will be recording our recital this year. Information on how to order will follow shortly.
Run Time
Curtain time is 6:00pm sharp. Each show will be approximately 90 minutes-2 hours.
Arrival time
Dancers are to arrive at 5:15pm for their recital. Please do not arrive late as dancers will need time to get settled in their dressing rooms.
Costumes and Final Fees
All costume and tuition fees will need to be paid in full before costumes will be released. All credit cards on file will be charged the costume remainder and the final tuition fees on April 1st. This includes monthly fees for our last two months, March 29th-April 25th and April 26th-May 23rd. Our recital overlaps into our final month therefore remaining fees will be charged together. If you wish to send an EMT for the final payment, please email prior to April 1st. The final total will be posted to your portal by March 22nd.
Please ensure costumes are picked up before end of day on Saturday, April 26th as the studio will be closed on Sunday, April 27th.
We will be in the studio for our regularly scheduled classes on Saturday, April 26th. We will move to the Arts and Culture Centre on Sunday, April 27th.

The Registration Form above is where you will enter your information, including an email and a personal password. This will give you access to your account, otherwise known as the Parent/Student Portal. This portal will give you access to choose your classes, view/pay your bill, edit your details etc. A short YouTube video is provided in the portal for those who need a little extra help with the process. Once you have chosen your classes (which will be listed alphabetically), add them to cart and check out. You will receive a confirmation email.
